I have started this blog loads of times but keep getting distracted!
DIRECTION:
SO, I am concentrating on the work of David Fincher. Simon warned me that his elaborate camera moves will be hard to replicate so I will be experimenting this week to see how far I can go!
Along with elaborate camera movement, Fincher is also characterized by his psychological "unseen terror" storylines, graphic images- telling stories with the pictures, contrasting lights and colours and fluorescent lights.

Which remote?
House-sitting and being somewhere you shouldn't. I thought of this:
He enters the house with a key from under the mat or in the post box. There's a note on the table saying to make himself at home. he wonders through the kitchen and settles in the living room to watch tv. He clicks on the remote. Nothing. He checks the plug and tv and clicks it twice more, nothing. Then he hears a faint murmer from upstairs. He goes to nervously explore. Checking each room he passes. A tv is on upstairs. He switches it off using the remote from downstairs. As he goes to leave the room he spots another remote. He clicks that at the upstairs tv, nothing. So he steps into the hall to listen. he wanders downstairs, slowly, listening. Then hears it. The radio in the kitchen. He gets closer, the signal is bad. He switches it off. The final remote is next to the stove. He clicks it. The screen goes blank/ the owners come home making him jump.
