Media Strategies Confusion

Is the question just about the Uk? Because what we have been learning seems mostly relevant to the Uk (BARB, RAJAR, certain discussions, programme examples etc). So I was wondering if picking an american example was irrelevant because it was made for American TV schedules and audiences? I know that some of the others are doing American shows but I am really confused about it!

    There's nothing to say it has to be uk based. you can pick any demographic, any programme(s). Michael Powel who made Peeping Tom was very much an american filmmaker.
    American TV is as relevant as any - as long as you make your point clearly.
