Today we met in the Admiral Gordon pub (where weren't very welcome ("They're doing my fucking head in" The Landlord said to another customer)).
It was very productive, lasting over 2 hours. The goal was work out the games which we did! Though we have a few issues to address with Helen and the CAFT students.
The games are as follows :
Beer Pong (might be renamed)
The aim of this game is to fill up your yard of ale before the other team.
To do this the team thrower has to get a ping pong ball into one of 10 (? probably worth having more) glasses which are placed in a tiered triangle. Each glass will be filled with different levels of liquid. The aim to get the fullest glasses to fill up quicker.
Twisting twister/ pub twister
This will be twister adapted to a pub theme whereby the coloured circles are replaced with beer brands or large beer mats.
The team member is sat on a stool which spins while the twister dial spins. And they have to place themselves on the mats or brands while dizzy... I Don't know what the ultimate aim of this game is, we forgot to discuss it.
Bungee beer game.
In this game the player is attached to a bungee rope. They have to run the end of the run which has a beer glass pool at the end. This pool is filled with liquid and also points coins among object and coins which don't count as points. The aim is to collect as many points as possible before the time runs out.
This game raises issues that need to be discussed.
We also have a spare game.
Ring the horn
This is a simple game where there are various hooks or horns on the wall of various sizes which are worth various points. The player throws hoops of various sizes to earn as many points as possible.
All of us will be working on finding contributors this week.
