Pre-Production: The pitch

Pitch day finally came last tuesday. My blogs were lacking in the build up to it as I had basically done all my research and was just fine tuning the details in the pitch document. I also had to get through the book so I didn't over look any important plot details for the synopsis.

I felt a bit tongue tied in my pitch and when I was asked questions I wasn't sure if I had conveyed my points very well but apparently I did! Roy Grace has been chosen to be continued.

I am so happy to have an idea commissioned. It really is a good feeling and I couldn't be happier with my co-adapters Dylan and Casey.

Feeling apprehensive towards being the writer but also excited. When I pitched it I hope I would have a chance to write the script but now I have that opportunity it is a bit scary!

Shall be working on the first scene for this coming tuesday.

  1. Bloody Marvelous Cat; well done!
And the Roy Grace stories make such brilliant suspense yarns - would be a brilliant TV Series, up there with the likes of "Lewis" and "Luther" for sure!
