Major Project: Idea development

Some more ideas for the series

- Life Skills
- Student Guide
- 1 minute tips for being green
- 1 Minute tips on getting your daily exercise

I quite like the idea of a life skills series. It's something that we were never taught in school. Things like how to pay a bill. Or what to buy in the supermarket. How to wash clothes without making them change colour. Finances. Tax (who knew we were taxed on everything!?) like council tax. It could be mildly funny and very informative.

This also feeds into the student guide. Things that students could do with knowing? How to get to class after a night out. What to do if you fail. How not to fail. How to stock your fridge. How to stop people in student accommodation from stealing your food. How to live with other people. How to remain in credit and not spend all your money in one go. How to get by on as little money as possible. Things like that. I think these could easily fit into one minute videos.

The last two ideas haven't been developed at all but were ideas I had.

Tips on being green. Easy ways to conserve energy or recycle without having to do much. Though I would have to look into how this could fill a series as there might not be enough content potential to do more than a one off.

Tips on getting your daily exercise could be fun, interesting to watch and in some cases humourous. It could be jokey, like run up and down your apartment blocks stairs doing jumping jacks at each landing, or attempt to climb a tree until you can't stand any more. All valid ways to exercise but slightly controversial.
