Pre-Production: Script

I had to make a decision of how to start the script. In the book, it starts with the journey towards the grave site, the men bantering and chatting.

I wanted to open with something more visually interesting and ambiguous. I considered starting with the crash itself but then would have to go backwards to explain so this is what I came up with.



Starting this way leaves the viewer in the unknown as to what is going on at first. It is more of a crime than a prank to begin with. Then the characters start chatting and revealing their intentions and doubts about it.
